Another day nearer towards the Chinese Lunar New Year of the rabbit. In Manderin its called a 辛 卯 ( xin mao ) year where xin 辛 represent soft metal and mao 卯 is the forth zodiac of the Chinese lunar calendar month which is represented by rabbit. This xin mao year falls on Thursday, the 3rd of Feb 2011. Before i proceed any further, Gong Xi Gong Xi, Da Jia Xin Nian Hao 恭 喜 恭 喜，，大 家 新 年 好 ！
Come April also denotes my 50th birthday, and i have been preparing and anticipating this time of my life with new life approaches.....Henceforth, it is only logical to set a new ambition so to say. Don't you laugh, i thought goal setting is very important to each of us irrespective of our age right?
Recently, i requested for my online ID from Malaysia FLP and log on to ForeverLivingProducts (FLP) homepage, a MLM business i had 'left' since 1994 only to find that my membership code hence my status of a Recognized manager was still intact. It was rather unfortunate to discover that my direct sponsor; the late Mr Cheng Siong Poh - a die hard supporter of FLP and Mr R. Maughan, had passed on some years back. Left were those wonderful memories together with Mr Cheng, especially those crucial years in the early 90s when FLP'd just embarked officially via our principal home company in US to tab the Malaysian market. ( Prior to 1992, FLP business was conducted through appointed agency ).
Coming back to the aforesaid membership example, one can't help but wonder whether there were any existing perpetual "Forever Living-like" membership left around us that recognized and acknowledged whatever efforts we had contributed to it, even though we/i have stayed rather dormant over the last 17 years, mere buying some FLP products every now and then for personal consumption?
Henceforth, i made up my mind that if there were any business and opportunity left for a retiring man like me; it must have been ForeverLivingProducts.
